The Bible of Barbecue – Tramontina.

Tramontina, a manufacturer of cookware and accessories, recently created an innovative book designed to give aspiring chefs all the basics for a successful barbecue. Created in conjunction with JWT Brazil, The Barbecue Bible shows all the important steps for a great barbecue, but more interestingly, also includes within its pages all the necessary components and raw materials for grilling. It starts off with a page made of charcoal, which is designed to be smashed into pieces and serve as the basis of your fire. The tome also includes pages that turn into a fire starter, fan, apron, aluminum, knife sharpener and even salt. There is also a kitchen cloth and placemat, and the cover doubles as a chopping board. Immortal Fans – Sport Club Recife

“Immortal Fans”, an organ donor advertising campaign associated with Brazilian soccer club Sport Club Recife, has been awarded the Promo & Activation Grand Prix at Cannes International Festival of Creativity 2013. The “Immortal Fans” donor card was developed to help club fans associate organ donation with after-death support for their football team. Cards, available for download through an app, or received by mail, showed family members that in the event of death organ donation would be preferred. The campaign included television commercials featuring real patients on transplant lists who promised to keep donors’ passion for Sport Club Recife alive.

Beer Turnstile – Antarctica.

Carnival in Rio is exuberant and outrageous. So beer brand Antarctica as a main sponsor decided to match their advertising with a potent message of ‘Don’t Drink and Drive’. Arrive safely at home after drinking by using the a ‘Beer Turnstile’ at the metro station.

A new underground turnstile accepted empty Antarctica beer cans as tickets. Via optical reading, each can was scanned and the passage freed. The person just needed to save the last (empty!) beer can and use it to get home safely.
